Aurora’s Pinot Grigio is briefly sur-lie aged in order to create a creamy texture on the palate. The fruit flavors are bright and the finish is smooth and elegant. We suggest pairing this wine with light cuisine such as fish, chicken, and creamier based cheese.

“This Grigio is the best I have sampled over many years of trying Pinot Gris and Grigio from around the world. The winemaker has introduced a style that blends the best parts of Pinot Gris of Alsace and Pinot Grigio of northern Italy. Doing so, provides the wine with a smooth pallet as in Pinot Gris from Alsace but still captures sufficient citrus aromatics and flavors found in Italian Grigios. It has become our “go-to” favorite wine produced at Aurora. It is “food-friendly”, finding that matches up with just about any dish other than dessert. We rate this wine as a ‘93’ on the Robert Parker scale.”
